About

Hello, my name is Austin.

The Orange Paper is a personal finance blog where I plan to discuss about saving money, investing in the stock market, taxes, loans, retirement, insurance, bargain hunting and other issues relating to personal finance. I’m by no means an expert on anything and I don’t claim to be – you will learn as I learn, struggle as I struggle, and hopefully, together, we can avoid some of the common mistakes we would otherwise fall prey to.

I found that many of my friends didn’t care as much about finances; I wanted somewhere I could discuss these things with people who know where I’m coming from and are interested in the subject. I hope to rely on you as much as you rely on me. As I wrote earlier, I’m not an expert, I’m just a normal person like you, and I hope that we can build a community where we can help each other learn the complexities of personal finance.

If you’d like to contact me for anything at all, use this contact form. I try to answer every email I receive as timely as possible.

Well, thank you for taking the time to learn a little about who I am and I invite you to have fun with The Orange Paper. Do participate by posting your comments on articles. That way, I know what’s on your mind and perhaps your comment might give an idea for a new article. Cheers!
